Advanced CMT Certification – NICET, ICC, and Beyond

This course is for technicians who do not want to stop at the first credential. The Advanced track helps connect field experience to a broader certification stack: NICET foundations, NICET advanced concepts, ICC inspection preparation, and field documentation mastery.

The goal is to make a technician more useful on more projects. That means understanding soils, asphalt, aggregates, concrete mix review, inspection references, and the kind of documentation that holds up when a failed test becomes a serious conversation.

• Broader materials testing vocabulary across soils, asphalt, aggregate, and concrete
• NICET Level I and Level II study direction
• ICC Special Inspector preparation across concrete, steel, masonry, and code documentation
• Field reports, photo standards, and chain of custody habits
• Confidence dealing with pushback when test results are inconvenient
